Senior Emma Lim finishes 10th at girls golf state tournament

DECATUR, Ill. – Emma Lim shot 150 over the two-day IHSA state golf tournament, earning 10th place with the fourth best score. Teammate Neha Vinesh placed 24th shooting a 157.

“It felt unreal,” Lim said. “I didn’t know how I was doing compared to the rest of the field.”

Lim and Vinesh had dreamed of making it to state.

“We’ve been trying to make it down [to state] together and we finally did,” Lim said.

Lim was able to cap off her last season of golfing at Central with her best ever state finish.
